Message from the NEW President!! - Frances

A short (I mean SHORT) biography. I was born in La Jolla, and raised literally on the beach in Cardiff (my family had a beach house there). I've always felt that I had salt water in my veins. I've wanted to dive since I was 7 years old, but couldn't swim. I finally got certified 4 years ago, and was immediately recruited to the Dive Animals by founder John Ellerbrock. (I think we then had less than 20 paid members!) I got my divemaster (and swimming lessons) within 10 months. And most significantly logged my 500^th dive over Thanksgiving weekend this year. I've been Membership Chairman (and Email Person) since

1997, Vice President in 2000. And now this....!! As a little girl, I never dreamed that I would be the first Woman President.... Only in America....!!
