Did
we mention we love to travel and get together?
We kick off the summer each year with our annual club picnic
in mid May held at La Jolla Shores. This is an event not to be
missed! Old friends getting together, new friends meeting, great
food, free boat rides and did we mention great raffle prizes donated
by local dive manufactures, dive charters and dive shops? Mark this
on your calendar as a "can't be missed"!

Gayle Van Leer and Janet Pinterits have done a fabulous job organizing the ever popular twice yearly
three dayHorizoncharters to the local Channel Islands.
One of these trips runs over Memorial Day weekend, another over the
4th of July weekend and the other in late October. Watch for emails and the

page announcing dates for these trips and book
early.
La Bufadora just a three hour ride
south of the border has been another popular destination for club
members. Bill Whitmarsh or another club member annually organize at
least one and sometimes two trips this spot just south of the
